Introduction

Welcome to Mooly. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Mooly mobile application and related services (collectively, "Service").

By downloading, installing, or using Mooly, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

Description of Service

Mooly is a reading habit tracking application that allows you to:

• Search for books and add them to your library
• Track your reading goals and maintain reading streaks
• Manage a personal library of books
• View statistics about your reading habits
• Connect with friends and share reading activity
• Scan book covers or pages to identify books using automated analysis

User Account

You may use Mooly as a guest or create an account using Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, or email magic link. When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate information.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed from our servers.

Subscriptions and Payments

Mooly offers optional premium features through in-app subscriptions ("Mooly Pro"). Subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store.

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings. Refunds are handled according to Apple's refund policies.

Your Responsibilities

When using Mooly, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information when creating an account
• Keep your credentials secure
• Use the app for its intended purpose of tracking reading habits
• Comply with applicable laws and regulations
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or interfere with the Service
• Not use the Service for any unlawful or prohibited purpose

Intellectual Property

The Mooly app, including its design, features, and content, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws.

Book information and cover images remain the property of their respective owners.

You retain ownership of your reading data and personal library information.

Mooly does not store or distribute full book content. User-provided text is processed transiently for identification purposes only.

User Content and Scanned Material

Users may submit content to the Service, including text derived from scanned books.

You represent and warrant that you have the legal right to process such content for personal book identification purposes.

Mooly does not claim ownership of scanned content. We do not store or redistribute book text beyond the immediate identification process.

Third-Party Services

Mooly uses the following third-party services:

• Supabase for authentication and data storage
• RevenueCat for subscription management
• Apple App Store for payments
• Google Gemini for automated book identification

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

Limitations of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Mooly.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason. You may stop using the Service at any time.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Poland.
